Group Training

Group Training

Length: Each group training session is 60 minutes in length.

Number of Sessions: Unlimited.

Group Members: Groups may not exceed nine athletes. Put together your own group. TNT5 Basketball Development is not responsible for establishing groups.

Training Schedule: You choose the dates and times that work best for you and schedule them with TNT5 Basketball Development.

Availability: Group sessions can be booked seven days per week from 7:00 a.m.- 9:00 (Sunday mornings off).

Location: You choose the location. Come to TNT’s home location at Luther College in Decorah, IA or TNT5 will come to your home town (school gym, local community center, out-door court at a city park, etc).

Facilitiy fees: When conducting training sessions away from our home location in Decorah, IA TNT5 is not responsible for facility fees unless arrangements are made at the time of registration. Additional fees may apply if TNT5 is responsible for paying facilities fees.

Registration: Available on-line. Be prepared to register for several sessions in advance to assure availability. Combined fee for all sessions you register for is due at the first work-out (example: register for 5 sessions with 5 in your group. Fee per person due at first session equals $95).

Fee Structure:

  • 2 per group- $29 per player per session.
  • 3 per group- $23 per player per session.
  • 4 per group- $21 per player per session.
  • 5 per group- $19 per player per session.
  • 6 per group- $17 per player per session.
  • 7 per group- $15 per player per session.
  • 8 per group- $15 per player per session.
  • 9 per group- $15 per player per session.

TNT5 Competencies

The prepared TNT5 Athlete will:

Be Efficient. Understand the importance of executing all skills in an efficient manner. Be explosive without wasted movement.

Use Proper Foot Work. Realizes the importance of proper foot placement and movement when shooting, passing, ball handling, and rebounding. Success begins with the feet.

Handle The Ball With A Purpose.  Use effective dribbling techniques in the open floor and while closely guarded. Tight handles provides offensive freedom.

Shoot With Confidence. Display proper mechanics while shooting at the free throw line, from the catch, and off the dribble. Also realizes the importance of a shooters mental approach to his/her success.

Pass With Accuracy. Execute a variety of passing techniques while distributing the basketball to team mates. Pass the player open and stick it in the window.

Rebound Aggressively. Understand the importance of rebound technique and mentality on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

Create Own Scoring Opportunities. Use individual moves to create his/her own finishing opportunities at the rim, in the post, or on the perimeter.

Make Weak Hand Stronger. Display “side balance” with the pass, finish, and dribble.
